In Italia ho bevuto il tè nella neve.

In a snowy day I drinked tea in the snow.
 

Ho cominciato a costruire e progettare il negozio vintage.

I started to created my vintage shop.

 

Sono stata in Finlandia e ho cucinato dolci ai frutti di bosco.

I was in Finland and I backed cakes with wild berries.

Sono andata in Irlanda e mi sono innamorata delle isole Aaran.

I went to Ireland and I fell in love with Aaran Islands.

 
 Sono tornata in Italia e nel giorno più caldo dell'estate ho fotografato il matrimonio di Laura, una delle mie migliori amiche.

I came back to Italy and in the hottest day of the summer I photographed the wedding of Laura, one of my best friends.



Sono tornata in Finlandia e alla stazione, al mio arrivo, ho ricevuto 3 rose rosse.

I went back to Finland and I received three red roses at the train station.

Sono stata in campagna per qualche mese.

I lived in the country side for a couple of months.

 

Sono tornata in Italia e mi sono fidanzata, un giorno d'autunno, in una foresta di castagni.

I  came back to Italy and I got engaged in warm day of Autumn, into a chestnut forest!

 Ho scoperto un posto magnifico. 

I found a wonderful place.

Ho giocato con mio nipotino.

I played with my nephew.

Ho creato segnalibri dalle immagini di giornali antichi.

I created bookmarks using the images found in old newspapers.

 

 Ho atteso e incontrato per la prima volta due gemelle, le mie nipotine.

I waited and met my twin nieces.

Ieri pioveva. Ieri era il giorno perfetto per
1) addentare una fetta di torta ai lamponi affogata nella salsa di vaniglia e
2) riscaldarsi con una tazza di caffè
3) godersi l'atmosfera di questa maglifica caffetteria a Lappeenrata

Yesterday was raining. Yesterday was the perfect day to
1) snap a big slice of raspberry cake with vanilla sauce
2) warm up with a coffee cup
3) enjoy the of this amazing coffee place in Lappeenranta

In finlandese lapone si dice "vadelma". Dopo aver mangiato questa torta mi sembra una parola dolcissima!

In Finnish the word raspberry is "vadelma". After the cake this word sounds do sweet to me!

Questo posto incantevole è in un edificio costruito nel 1850 situato nella fortezza di Lappeenranta. Di fianco alla caffetteria c'è una galleria d'arte e un negozietto con le creazioni artigianali degli artisti del luogo.

This lovely place is in a wooden building built in the 1850. Alongside of the coffee place there is an art galley and a craft shop with the work of local artisans.

 

 

Non c'è posto migliore per fotografare gioielli e cucchiai antichi!

Back to the forest

A due passi da casa c'è la foresta e il lago Saimaa, il più grande della Finlandia (4400 km quadrati).

Really close to home there is the forest and the lake Saimaa, the biggest Finnish lake (4400 square km).
